Jennifer & Mark at the Codman Estate

An oldie but goodie – Jennifer and Mark‘s wedding from last August at the Codman Estate in Lincoln, MA. It was a lovely venue for a low-key, outdoorsy wedding with a historic New England feel. The ceremony was in the garden, in front of a pond filled with water lilies. The small 40-person reception was in a tent and filled with friends, family, and lots and lots of kids.

Ashley & Chris

I simply adored Ashley & Chris’ wedding at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden. It started as one of those days when all the signs point to rain. The sky, the forecast – it just seemed inevitable. But for whatever reason (maybe it was the anti-rain dance my assistant Ryan claimed to have done), the sun broke through and we were all happy campers. Especially since more than half the day was outdoors.

But first off, a few getting ready shots. Here is Ashley, helping one of the adorable flower girls get ready.

I think I’m in love with Ashley’s birdcage veil.

Told you the sun came out! Here’s the ceremony, in the “Secret Garden” at Tower Hill.

Fabulous light!

The reception was held in the greenhouse conservatory.

Homemade honey, harvested from Ashley’s family’s bee farm.

Their first dance was completely choreographed — hysterical!

Meanwhile, the kids’ party was downstairs. . .

Congrats Chris & Ashley!! And thanks so much for the honey!

Alison & Geoff

Alison and Geoff got married at the beautiful Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, CT. It was a gorgeous day for a garden wedding, and everything was decorated in Alison’s favorite color of pink! Here’s a few of my favorites from the day.

Alison’s junior bridesmaid looks on as Alison gets ready.

Alison laughing as her two pregnant bridesmaids help her with her shoes.

Five minutes until the ceremony, and the guys are playing pool.

Right before the ceremony started, the sun decided to make a huge appearance. Luckily Alison had some umbrellas for the crowd.

The toasts were given from the balcony overlooking the garden.

Alison’s maid of honor (and sister) Kate and Geoff’s best man Jesse gave the most heartfelt speeches. They brought everyone to tears.

With some laughter mixed in, too.

I love all of Alison’s expressions. . .

The Shaded Soul Band kept the party going all night.
