Kerri & Rich’s Boston Engagement Session

Kerri and Rich are from New York, and Rich just moved up here recently, so they wanted their engagement session to be something completely true to their new town, something that said “classic Boston.” So naturally they decided on the Public Garden, Beacon Hill, and the Charles River. Originally we were going to photograph a lot of foliage as well, but this is turning out to be one of those years when the leaves turn late. Luckily we found the only two trees on the Public Garden that looked like fall. We also timed the session just right, and can I just say that I always want to shoot at twilight now.

Amy & Rob’s Engagement Session at the Arnold Arboretum

Rob, Amy, and I met on a warm July night to photograph their engagement session at the Arnold Arboretum. The balloons which they used in the first few shots were to coordinate with their save-the-date, an extremely cool animated movie that they created, which you can see here. Can’t wait for their wedding in less than a month!

Laura and Kevin

This photo of Laura and Kevin was taken during our engagement session at the Franklin Park Zoo. It was actually super crowded there, which you can’t tell from the photo, but we managed to squeeze in some cute pics while working our way around various class trips. In keeping with the animal theme, Laura even donned her bird t-shirt, which I thought was quite fitting. Can’t wait for their wedding in a few weeks at Upstairs on the Square in Cambridge.

Gina and Marco in the fog

One reason not to reschedule a shoot even if the weather looks iffy – you can get some totally unique situations, like the fog that Marco, Gina, and I had last week while photographing their engagement session in Larz Anderson Park in Brookline.
