World’s End Engagement Session | Brittany and Brandon

For their engagement session Brittany and Brandon brought me to one of their favorites places to walk and hike – World’s End in Hingham. We explored the trails and cliffs extensively, and even found some tidepools and little crabs. We photographed so much that we lost track of time, and also how far into the reservation we actually were. We ended up practically running back to our cars before they got locked in the World’s End parking lot. Luckily, we weren’t stranded there, but let’s just say the staff wasn’t too happy. It is so worth the visit because it’s a beautiful place, but word-to-the-wise, make sure to start walking back well before you need to!! :)

Fort Point Engagement Session | Melanie + Matt

We started out Melanie and Matt’s Fort Point engagement session where they had their first date. Which also, coincidentally, happens to be my favorite cocktail bar in the city. :) We then wandered around Fort Point and the Seaport area, and our timing couldn’t have been any better, because we captured some beautiful twilight photos with the city as a backdrop, and a killer moonrise. Melanie – we will have to go to Drink again, and next time I will actually get something!

Berkshires Wedding at the Mass Moca | Jennifer + Adam

I finally had a chance to photograph at the Mass Moca, and I’m so happy that it was for Jen and Adam’s wedding. If you’ve never been there, the Mass Moca is a modern art museum in the Berkshires. It’s essentially a modern, industrial gem. Their ceremony was in a beautiful raw space with peeling paint, lots of windows, and tiny golden lights behind them. We photographed among the exhibits – portraits in rooms with colorblocked walls, the cocktail hour in a room with a giant steel dragon which was lit with blue lights. It was such a fabulous day, made even more fun because photographing Jen and Adam is like hanging out with two friends all day.

A Berkshires Wedding | Simone and Micah

Simone and Micah have deep roots in the Berkshires. They are Williams alums, and Simone’s parents have a summer home in Williamstown which they’ve been going to for years. The area is a special place for them, so they chose Simone’s parents backyard for the ceremony, with the view facing the rolling hills of the Berkshires. Their wedding was a homecoming for a lot of the guests who are also alums, and the entire wedding had a very special feel because of that. Simone and Micah are two incredibly genuine and sincere people and I was honored to be able to document their wedding day.

A Boston Engagement Session | CJ + Bobby

A few pics from my engagement session around Boston with CJ and Bobby. We happened to hit the Esplanade right at sunset. The light was amazing that night! I also loved the variations in color as the sky goes from blue and yellow to pink and orange.
