Irene and Ari are having their wedding this fall in Chicago. But right now they call Boston home, and wanted their engagement photos to capture the neighborhood that they live in and love. We photographed in Beacon Hill, and then on Charles River, which proved to be the windiest afternoon that we’ve had yet this Spring.
Luck was definitely on our side for Tiffiny and Ben’s wedding at the Lenox Hotel. In the midst of one of the worst winters we have had here in awhile (probably since I even moved to Boston), it was one of the only sunny and gorgeous days all winter. We were able to walk around Back Bay without freezing, and we managed to photograph on Commonwealth Avenue, as well as Copley Square and at the Boston Public Library. We then headed back for their indoor ceremony, where Tiffiny and Ben chose to have circular setup for their ceremony. This made for such a intimate feeling during their ceremony, as they were literally surrounded on all sides by the people who love and care about them.
A quick roundup of some recent press this winter. First, Sara and Jeff’s wedding at the Barn on Walnut Hill was featured in WellWed Magazine.
Second, this winter I received the Couple’s Choice Award from WeddingWire. Thanks so much to all of my couples who submitted reviews, I am truly grateful! You can read all of my WeddingWire reviews here.
