Rachel and Cam had a late fall wedding at The Barn at Flanagan Farm. Rachel really wanted a feeling of rustic elegance, with lots of candles, hot cider, and a family-style meal. She definitely got her wish, because despite the fact that it was a wet and blustery day outside, the wedding and the barn had a warm, cozy, and festive atmosphere.

Kiera Stipovich - You got my attention on that cool hanger and whaaaat a gold sequin dress? And an emerald ring?! How cool! Also that reception DOES look warm and cozy and your photos make me want to go to there… especially as I’m sitting here catching up on some blog reading and staring out the window at snow. :) Lovely photos, Joyelle!

    Joyelle - Thanks, Kiera!! :)

Marlene and Alan were married last week at Cambridge City Hall, in a very intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. Marlene runs the blog Jade and Fern and I loved all of her little thoughtful diy touches, including making her own bouquet!

Seán Carlson - just beautiful, Alan and Marlene!

I love a ceremony with great audience participation, which is what Sarah and Jeff had at their Newport wedding. Their families knew exactly when to chime in from the pews as their officiant recounted the story of Sarah and Jeff’s long history of being together for over a decade. Their day had such great energy and emotion and was so much fun to capture, and Blithewold was a beautiful location right on the water in Newport.

Lisa and Jen had a beautiful rustic fall wedding at the Lyman Estate. I loved their decor, attention to detail, and sense of aesthetic. However, the best part of photographing a wedding to me is always the ceremony. Lisa and Jen’s was especially moving, and included a choir of their friends that sang three beautiful hymns.
