Alexandra and Josh’s Summer Camp Engagement Session

It’s like a story right straight out of Moonrise Kingdom. Alexandra went a girls summer camp, Camp Robindel, on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, Josh went to the boys summer camp, Camp Winaukee, down the road. They met at the age of 8 at a camp dance mixer, and the rest is history. So Ally and Josh flew back from California and we hit up Lake Winnipesaukee again for a late summer engagement session at their old camps. Looking forward to their November wedding at The Inn at Mills Falls!

Habitat Wedding in Belmont

Small weddings are just so intimate and lovely, and this 25-person affair was no exception. I’ve always wanted to photograph a wedding at the Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont, so I was super excited about this late summer wedding. Habitat, which is apart of the Mass Audubon Society, is a small nature preserve with forest and trails, a historic mansion, and a beautiful formal garden. The bride wanted to accent the natural elements of the space with lush flowers, and Petalena did an amazing job of bringing the bride’s vision to life. And special thanks goes to Jennifer from Esq.Events for coordinating it all.

Nancy – The flowers were from Petalena. Apryl from Petalena did a beautiful job! The bride let each bridesmaid choose their own dress, so they were a mix of sources. I know that one of them was vintage, and one of them was from Lord and Taylor. Not sure about the third. But they all ended up matching the garden style really well!

Boston Engagement Photos | Andrea & Andy

Andrea and I had postponed her and Andy’s engagement session twice during the crazy heatwave that we had in Boston in August. And I’m glad we did, because we ended up having awesome weather and light last week during our evening stroll in the city.
