There’s always something new to shoot on the Charles River. I had some gorgeous light to photograph with Samantha and Mark last week. Can’t wait for their wedding in August at Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont!
I started my wedding season this year with Christina and Brendan’s lovely celebration in Boston. Their wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was on the rooftop of the XV Beacon Hotel, a unique spot in the city with beautiful views, and their dinner was in the wine cellar at Moo. The intimate event was coordinated by Gabrielle Stone of Stone Event Planning. Congrats, Christina and Brendan!
I was lucky last week to have not just one, but two features on Style Me Pretty! First was Melanie and Matt’s wedding at the Glen Manor House in Rhode Island, and second was Brittany and Brandon’s wedding at the Crane Estate Barn in Ipswich. Both were gorgeous New England outdoor settings. You can see the two features here and here!
In less than two weeks, I dive into my wedding season for 2015. I’ll be photographing weddings all over New England. From modern restaurants and spaces in Boston, to beautiful and lush gardens like Habitat in Belmont and Tower Hill Botanic Garden. New Hampshire farms and barns like Moody Mountain Farm in Wolfboro. Elegant New England mansions and venues like Alden Castle, Glen Manor House, Misselwood, and the Hellenic Center in Ipswich. I’m excited to be finally photographing on Peak’s Island, one of Maine’s many islands.
One of the places that I’ll be photographing in May is the Overbrook House in Buzzards Bay. It’s a charming 1920s Cape house in the woods, with rustic trails and an old-fashioned wooden dance hall. I’m excited to be shooting a wedding there again! In the meantime, here are some photos from the last wedding that I photographed there.
