Sarah and Jonathan at Elm Bank

One of the sweetest parts of Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society was Jonathan’s surprise to Sarah. Jonathan had been in an a capella group in college, and the group came to the wedding. When we arrived at Elm Bank, having driven from their ceremony, the group came out, and Jonathan serenaded Sarah with the group as his backup. Sarah was totally surprised and teary-eyed and it was so lovely to capture for them.

Carolynn and Stephen in York Harbor, Maine

Carolynn and Stephen had their wedding in one of my favorite places – seacoast Maine. Their ceremony was on the cliff overlooking the water at the Stage Neck Inn in York Harbor, while the reception was in the cozy dining room with views of the shores. Carolynn and Stephen chose to keep their guest list very small, and I always love intimate weddings. They really place an emphasis on family and good friends, love, support, and laughter.

Kerri and Andrew at The Barn At Gibbet Hill

Kerri and Andrew were married in the sunny field at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. It was a bright day and the blues that Kerri chose for the women’s dresses mimicked the depth of blue in the sky.  Kerri, Andrew, and I share a love for the outdoors, and I loved how they used trees and tree names in their decor. The personal touch was their hard work on lots of origami, something that I’ve always admired but have never attempted!

Lyndsey and Charlie’s Lake Winnipesaukee Wedding

Lyndsey and Charlie were married in the lakes region of New Hampshire on Labor Day weekend. And who can resist a wedding where the bride arrives by boat? All of the activities surrounded the lake, and because Charlie’s family runs a greenhouse and nursery, colorful flowers were included in the decor at Church Landing. Since water is the main theme here, to refresh your memory on their engagement session by boat, click here.

Amy and Rob’s designed downtown wedding

Amy and Rob both have an incredible eye for design which they incorporated in their wedding. It all started with their self-produced save-the-date video, when they made the caricature drawings of themselves which they used on their cake topper and wedding program. I loved their quirky little touches, too, like putting together a heart puzzle in the middle of their ceremony, and having finger stamps as a sign-in book. The whole event was coordinated by lolagraceEVENTS, and the end result was a cute and funky city wedding, which was so fun to be apart of. Thanks, guys!
