Marco might be from Brazil, but their wedding was classic Boston, with their reception at the State Room and photos at the Public Garden. I loved loved loved Gina’s sparkly Jimmy Choo’s, and also the crazy dancing that ensued at their reception.

This is the second wedding that I’ve photographed now for the Farber family and I loved seeing them again. Amy, Shira’s mother, did an incredible job at coordinating everything, and the day was gorgeous. And without a doubt, this family has some of the best horahs (chair dances) that I’ve ever seen.

I first met Andrew and Lara while photographing Andrew’s identical twin brother’s wedding last October. Lara, as I later found out, is also a twin. So a twin married a twin – I guess they can certainly relate to each other! Their lovely and elegant wedding was on the outskirts of the Green Mountains at Castle Hill in Ludlow, Vermont.
Two weeks ago, I had the honor of seeing two dear friends get married. Laurence and Sarah were married in Asheville, North Carolina, at Sarah’s parents’ house. The ceremony was intimate, sweet, and emotional. We then had a lovely dinner at the North Carolina Arboretum, a gorgeous place on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and an after-party at local pub, complete with sparklers. The entire day was filled with warmth, love, and lots of bluegrass music, and I was thrilled to be apart of it.
