Just a small selection from all the fabulous weddings and engagements that I photographed in 2011. Thanks to all of my wonderful clients, I am honored to work with you!

Linzee and Eric’s wedding at the Harvard Club in Boston was an incredible way to end my season. First off, can Linzee look any happier? I don’t think so. Second, the elegance and grace of the Harvard Club was juxtaposed by Linzee’s idea of incorporating a forest feel into their wedding. Linzee and Eric met ages ago while in Vermont for school, so they wanted to channel a feeling of Vermont at their wedding. Bow Street Flowers did an amazing job, using moss, berries, and pinecones, as well as ferns and forest orchids native to Vermont. Finally, hundreds of tealights everywhere lit the room, and the end result was very dim and warm lighting that made the space feel intimate and romantic on this fall night.

Susan and Tim’s wedding at Turner Hill, in Ipswich, was on that crazy October day when it snowed in New England. Luckily they had planned everything in front of the warm fire, so not much was affected, and we even got to run out into the snow at the end of the night. Another thing that I loved about their wedding was that except for Susan’s sister, who was her maid-of-honor, everyone else in Susan and Tim’s wedding party was under the age of 6.

Alan’s friends and family are spread across the country, so when Jennifer and Alan were looking at venues for their wedding, they really wanted something with a quintessential New England feel. The Red Lion Inn in Cohasset fit the bill perfectly, with its rustic charm, cozy barn, and the beach so close by as well. We drove to the beach for the photos of the two of them, and we completely lucked out by having the most amazing sky ever, and clouds so thick you could scoop them up like ice cream.

Candice and Patrick are two of the sweetest people. When I first met Candice, waaaay back (I think they booked me in the winter of 2010), meeting her was just like chatting with a friend. So I was excited to photograph their engagement session on the Boston waterfront this fall, and finally their wedding at The Barn at Gibbett Hill this October.
The lovely flowers and details were designed by JCF Events.
