Willowdale Estate is beautiful any time of year, and Maida and Will’s winter wedding there was no exception. The stone mansion looked so lovely blanketed in fresh snow, and the sunlight streaming into the conservatory set such a warm atmosphere for Maida and Will’s wedding ceremony.

I had a blast a few weeks ago hanging out with the women from The Artisan Bake Shop – Meredith, Jody, Janessa, and Tabitha – and photographing their Cinco de Mayo themed desserts. I love the colors! And the polka-dots on the cake are fantastic! This is a little nudge to my brides to use more color on their wedding day. :) Check out The Artisan Bake Shop for all the wonderful desserts and goodies that they have to offer. To see more behind-the-scenes work of Meredith whipping up a batch of those incredibly cute French macarons, see the baking post on my personal blog here.

Andrea and Andy’s Boston wedding at the Liberty Hotel was a spectacular way to start 2013. For starters, Andrea and Andy’s family and friends were so welcoming to me, it was so easy to slip in and capture all the behind-the-scenes moments. Second, we had unseasonably warm weather for January, which is saying a lot as I sit here typing this in the middle of a blizzard. Finally, one of the highlights of the day was photographing portraits of Andrea and Andy at sunset from the penthouse suite of the hotel. We were lucky to be able to get a few minutes up there, and we had breathtaking light with a killer view of Boston and the Charles River.
