Gore Place Wedding in Waltham | Miriam + Jake

Miriam and Jake had such a thoughtful approach to their wedding. Their wedding day had a low-key vibe at Gore Place, with their ceremony held in a field under an apple tree, and their reception filled with interesting food from food trucks. They also included so many personal touches in their day. Jake is a glass blower and made the glasses that they used in the ceremony, for drinking wine and stomping on the glass. Miriam made their ketuba and Jake built their chuppah. They also arranged all of their flowers and made candy by hand (which I can personally say was delicious).

Venue: Gore Place | Dress: BHLDN | Food Trucks: Clover and the Taco Truck | Pies: Petsi Pies

Their ceremony was in the outdoor “camp chapel,” a clearing in the woods which was right on the lake, and the reception was in the camp’s dining hall. The whole weekend was perfectly coordinated by Gabrielle Stone of Stone Event Planning.

Betsy and Andrew’s Cape Cod Wedding in Brewster

Betsy and Andrew’s wedding on Cape Cod in Brewster was summery and fun. This was the third time that I’ve photographed this extended family and every time has been a blast. It was great to see everyone again, chat with the older aunts about the family property (a giant piece of land that has been in the family for generations, before the founding of Brewster as a town), and see the old wooden family car still running. Congrats Betsy and Andrew!
