Maggie, Chris and I totally lucked out last week – the day of their engagement session was the best day so far this year. So we were able to shoot their engagement session in Marblehead as if it were spring. We photographed in downtown Marblehead then stumbled upon this cute little hillside park with some amazing old stone, beautiful views of the water, and perfect light.
Shira, Jeff, and I met up for their Gloucester engagement session at Stage Fort Park on Thanksgiving weekend. I met Shira several years ago when I photographed her brother’s wedding, and it was so great to catch up again. It was lot colder than it looked, even for November, but we managed to squeeze in a great session before we froze. Can’t wait for their wedding in July at the Peabody Essex Museum!
Jeff works in footwear, and so does Shira’s Dad, so an obsession with shoes definitely runs on both sides. So I had to get in a few apropos shots here!
I photographed Patrick and Julie’s engagement session in October at all their favorite places from their college days at Harvard. Their wedding was two weeks later at the Crane Estate, which I can’t wait to share. But first, their e-session photos from Cambridge!
These two are troopers! Despite Alejandro’s hectic work schedule, and Karen caring for their 5-month old, they managed to squeeze in an early morning weekday engagement session at the beautiful Elm Bank in Wellesley. They brought their baby and a babysitter in tow and didn’t mind photographing right through the rain. We ended up with the softest light ever, which was so sweet and lovely, perfect for a laid-back garden shoot. Can’t wait for their Boston wedding (which is coming up soon!!) at Ginger Park in the South End.
Jennifer and Mark love literature, art, history and architecture, so where better to do their engagement session than the Boston Athenaeum. The Boston Athenaeum is a private library, but Jennifer and Mark are members. Even so, we had to be pretty stealthy when photographing, finding little hidden corners and places where there weren’t authors huddled over manuscripts, seriously working on their next novels. Can’t wait for their wedding in a few weeks at the Codman Estate.
