Pritish and Leena on the Comm Ave Mall in Boston. I love the glow of the lights behind them. . .

I’ve been to a number of the Trustees of the Reservations sites (the Crane Estate, Appleton Farms, and Ravenswood Park to name a few), but World’s End has been on my list for awhile. So when Christine suggested it for her and Jon’s engagement photos, I agreed with her in about two seconds flat. We started with the trees and meadows and finished on the bay, where we got some beautiful and extremely subtle light after the sun dipped below the horizon, and I was loving the moody blue tones as dusk met water.

Emma and David are getting married next month in Costa Rica, but decided to get some engagement photos taken in Boston before they left. So we wandered around the Rose Kennedy Greenway and Boston Harbor last weekend, enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon on the water, and staying until the last lights of twilight were gone.

It’s like a story right straight out of Moonrise Kingdom. Alexandra went a girls summer camp, Camp Robindel, on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, Josh went to the boys summer camp, Camp Winaukee, down the road. They met at the age of 8 at a camp dance mixer, and the rest is history. So Ally and Josh flew back from California and we hit up Lake Winnipesaukee again for a late summer engagement session at their old camps. Looking forward to their November wedding at The Inn at Mills Falls!
