Lauren & Jeff’s Winter Engagement Session

Lauren and Jeff are skiiers and climbers and all-around outdoor enthusiasts. So despite the cold temps, these two Californians were eager to have a winter engagement session amidst all of our newfound snow on Boston Common. I have never seen two people laugh more during an engagement session. At any given moment, at least one of them was cracking up. It’s always nice to see two people just completely have a blast when they are together.

Lauren and Jeff, hope you are settling into some warmer weather back home now! See you in September!

Rachel & Jon

I am just totally loving all of my engagement sessions this year. The latest was with Rachel and Jon - they made the trip up from New York and we spent a fabulous summer morning soaking up the sun and shooting on the harbor. Can’t wait for their wedding at the Museum of Science in September!

Maria and Kevin

One thing that I love about engagement sessions is that they give me a chance to hang out with my couples in a totally casual atmosphere. Sometimes I don’t meet my couples inititally, when they book me and they live in different cities. Sometimes I only meet one person initially, as was the case with Maria and Kevin. When Maria first came to see me, Kevin was living in DC. So it was great to meet her other half, and we decided on a shoot on Boston Harbor. It was a rare evening of sun in a month of nonstop rain, so we had an excellent time wandering around, photographing, and enjoying the city at our feet.

Alissa and Eric

Alissa, Eric and I met up on Saturday morning to hang out along the Charles and take some photos. It was a fantastic engagement session, these two really know how to have fun together. Can’t wait for the wedding!!
