New Matted Albums

It’s been all about albums lately, and here is one of my newest favorites! It’s an 8×8 matted album from Cypress, and this album is truly a work of art. Cypress wedding albums are handmade by artisans in California. You can see the flushmount version of their albums here.

It all starts with a presentation box, to store and protect the album. You can choose from over 18 beautiful Japanese bookbinding fabrics and Swiss ribbons.

The pages are bound with Swiss ribbon, or you can have the album library bound.

The pages are hand-torn, giving it a true fine art look and feel.

Another New Sample

I have a beautiful new album from Madeline and Rob’s wedding last June at the Crane Estate! This is a 9×12 flushmount album, and the cover is completely customizable. The printing is snappy and makes the colors really pop. All in all, it’s a beautiful, modern choice for telling the story of your day!

Here’s the kind words that Madeline had for me when she received the album:

“You are the best!!! We are SO excited about this new album, it is so beautiful and so much fun to have even more pictures. The layout is gorgeous and it is so nice to have those huge two page spreads! We love it. I would recommend you to anyone. You are so sweet to keep sharing the joy- it brings such a smile to my face re-remembering our big day through these amazing photos. You really captured the beauty and wonder of it all.”

Thank YOU, Madeline! It was so great to work with both of you!

Sample Albums

Just wanted to share some images of one of my newest sample albums! It’s a beautiful fine art flushmount album from Cypress. I’ve been using Cypress for years because the quality of their albums is top-notch. The albums are individually handmade in California by artisans. They are museum quality and archival, and best of all, the company holds itself to high environmental standards. Their products are acid-free, non-toxic, bleach-free, and sourced from environmentally conscious suppliers.

The albums are created with Japanese bookbinding fabrics. Black is shown here (it’s timeless of course!), but they are also available in a variety of other silks and brochades.

This album is 10×10 size. I’m a big fan of the square format!

I love how the album can fold flat and none of the images are lost in the gutter.
