Meredith and Dave

Meredith and Dave are recent Boston residents - they moved here not too long ago from my good old hometown of Philly. They settled into JP and love the Arboretum which is right in their neighborhood, so it seemed like the perfect place for their engagement photos. We had a blast! What a fun couple, I’m really looking forward to their wedding in September!

Joanna and Brendan

Joanna and Brendan are huge baseball fans, and they got engaged at Fenway Park, so there was really no better place to do their engagement photos! Can’t wait until their wedding in August!

Folake

Last Thursday I took a few hours out of my crazy shooting and editing schedule to see my good friend Folake in Queens, NY. She recently got engaged, so of course we were talking about some preliminary wedding plans!! Plus I got to take some photos while the two of us were hanging out at the waterfront park in her Queens neighborhood.

A few more of her neighborhood:

Madeline & Rob

Madeline and Rob got married at one of my favorite venues, Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. It wasn’t quite raining but it was misting all day, which made the settting have a very quiet kind of beauty. I don’t often get to photograph portraits in the fog, so I was definitely loving every minute of it.

VENUE: Castle Hill
CAKE: Jenny’s Cakes
FLOWERS: JWrobel
CATERER: Vinwood Caterers

There comes a point for every bride when she’s getting ready that the emotion of the day will suddenly hit her! It happens to everyone, I remember it happening to me, too. The next two photos show that moment for Madeline.

It was a very moving ceremony.

I love when the party gets to this point.

Marianne & Steve

I love big Italian families, and that’s exactly what Marianne has! She and Steve got married at St. Joseph’s in Church in Medford and had their reception at the lovely and historic Hawthorne Hotel

VENUE: Hawthorne Hotel
CAKE: Montilio’s
FLOWERS: Tia’s of Boston
MUSIC: Boston Music Works

The rare occasion where a bride is ready early! This is Marianne’s parents, Dominic and Anna, just hanging out with her in their living room.

The second toast was given by Marianne’s maid of honor Jody. They’ve been best friends practically since birth. So sweet!

Congrats, you two! And thanks, Anna, for the delicious homemade cookies!
