Mary Beth & Susan’s Boston wedding

I always love intimate and personal weddings, and Mary Beth and Susan’s wedding was exactly that. Surrounded by close family members and friends, they were married at Arlington Street Church, and then had their reception at the totally fabulous blu restaurant in downtown Boston.

After the ceremony, everyone walked over to blu, where the cocktail hour was on the terrace and had this amazing view.

We went down to the restaurant for dinner, and the space was simply amazing. A huge bank of windows is basically a photographer’s dream.

Everyone was having a seriously good time.

I was obsessed with this view.

I love these portraits of Mary Beth and Susan, lit only by candlelight and twilight.

Stephen Amoroso - What wonderful photos of Mary Beth and Susan – and all their happy family and friends who were so fortunate to be at their wedding. You really captured the intimacy and true beauty of their day. You’re a terrific, sensitive photographer, Joyelle. Congratulations on creating an absolutely accurate and complete visual account of joyful people at a joyful time. I especially like that you were totally present, but never intrusive. You were especially “professional” when you took the group photo on the church steps – How you managed to get everyone to pay attention – at the same time – is amazing (I love that everyone in that photo is smiling, too!). Thank you so much for “making memories”….

Cathy - Looks like a fun wedding with a lot of happiness. :) I absolutely love the shot of them with that huge tree behind them and the sun streaming down.
